Master Expert Witness Retainer & Testimony Agreement

Formal retention of Roger Alvarez, Founder & Chief Executive Digital Officer (CEDO) of Alvarez Forensics LLC, for forensic bioinformatics consultation, Rule 26 expert disclosures, Daubert/Frye admissibility defense, and sworn testimony.

01 • RETENTION BASELINE

$5,000.00 Testimony Retainer

Upfront, non-refundable retainer baseline required prior to formal Rule 26 expert designation, case file review, or court disclosure.

02 • HOURLY & APPEARANCE RATES

$525.00 / Hr Testimony

Sworn deposition and courtroom trial testimony billed at $525.00/hr with a mandatory 4-hour minimum billing block ($2,100.00) per appearance day. Rule 26 reports, trial exhibits, and prep billed at $325.00/hr in 0.1-hour increments.

03 • ESCROW & REPLENISHMENT

Pre-Appearance Escrow

Retainer replenishment is triggered at the 20% ($1,000.00) threshold. Estimated testimony blocks and travel expenses must be funded in escrow at least 14 business days prior to scheduled appearance.
